Wash Out Wednesday A whopping 38% of us fall off the dieting bandwagon on the 3rd January. Yes, you read that correctly, the 3rd JANUARY! We all start with the best of intentions but seemingly we start to waiver at 4pm, in search of a chocolate fix.
 
Our gorgeous Claire Sweeney knows only too well how hard it can be post-Christmas when you are in a routine of eating junk food, scoffing the last of the leftovers and generally eating far more than we need too.
 
Claire Sweeney has not only smashed her weight loss goals but has successfully maintained her impressive 2 stone loss. So how did she lose those pounds and how did she keep it off we hear you ask?!
 
Well… here is her top 5 tips to keep you on track…
 
  1. Keep a photo diary so you can see the difference – some weeks the scales might not change drastically but when you compare photos you’ll feel motivated. When I started the SlimFast 3.2.1. Plan I kept a photo on the fridge of myself from a few years ago, wearing a dress I loved and felt fab in! It kept me focused on what I was trying to achieve
     
  2. Keep hydrated. We often eat when we are actually thirsty! Plus added bonus, water makes my skin sparkle!
     
  3. Step away from the festive leftovers and general temptation, it might taste great at the time but will leave you feeling sluggish later on. Take yourself out for a quick walk or keep busy! Out of sight, out of mind!  
     
  4. Flick through your diary at the weeks ahead – there’s nothing like having a party or night out on the horizon to keep you focused. 
  1. Keep a 100 calorie snack in your bag, my preference is the SlimFast Sour Cream and Chive Pretzels or Chocolate Caramel snack bars. Yum!
