Sweet and Joyful Potato Dahl

Sweet and Joyful Potato Dahl

Sweet potatoes are a great source of carbohydrates, which are believed to promote the production of serotonin the feel-good brain chemical. Probiotic yoghurt is full of good bacteria, which helps keep the gut healthy and boost the immune system. It is believed that there is a strong link between a healthy gut and a happy brain and that gut bacteria can have a wide ranging effect on brain chemistry. Chickpeas are a great source of iron, which is important for transporting oxygen around the body to support energy levels. A lack of iron will lead to fatigue and a low mood.
