Keto Tomato sauce

Make your own easy tomato pizza topping – with plenty left for another day

Ingredients

  • 200ml canned tomatoes and juice
  • 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Fresh basil, finely chopped

Method

  1. Puree the tomatoes and juice, olive oil into a liquidiser and whiz until smooth.

  2. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serving size is 3 tbsp. Recipe makes approximately 4 cups.

  3. Tip: Store left over sauce in sealed container in the fridge for up to 4 days or store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
