Hi I'm Claire, 22. This is my first time on here. I started SF 3 days ago and because I'm a vegetarian, I can't have a lot of the meal suggestions listed in my plan. I have made a packet of macaronni patsta with my own added mushrooms everyday so far on this diet because I can't think of anything else that comes to the amount of calories I need to have. This meal takes me to around 500 but by the end of the night I get hungry again- probably because it's meant to be a 600 cal dinner. Anyways, am I allowed to have somehting extra for 100 calories later on? Plus some of my snacks don't always add up to 95 cals (could be 50 each for example) so really it's more than 100 calories I should have eaten. Am I allowed to eat something healthy to use up these calories?
I'm sure it's 600 for dinner for a reason. If not then what ways can you build up your dinners to make it 600 cals? I'm a fussy veggie to be honest and don't eat much stuff. My fave foods are mushrooms, homemade lentil soup, pasta, pizza and cheese.
One more question. I have a shake for breakfast and lunch then my usually 500 cal dinner and 3 snacks. Today for example 2 crackers n low fat cheese spread, 2 very small 26 cal each satsumas and a SF chocolate heavenly bar. Is this enough to fill you all up? It may sound a lot but it's really not. What other snacks do you know of that are better and that keep you going?
Sorry to bother you but I want to lose last stone of baby weight. Thanx
Hi, if your only eating 500cal dinner can't see why you can't make up the 100 later on. i normally start my day with shake for breakfast. lunch i will have a snack and my shake together as this seems to fill me up more. i will have my 2nd snack about 4. i don't eat my 3rd snack as i add the cals from this on to my main meal and then just drink weak squash in between it all. i find bananas fill me up for longer. I too today had 2 crackers and low fat cheese spread for my lunch snack but i found i wanted more which is when i had my shake and a glass of water which seemed to fill me up. I've found i can still eat the same meals i was eating before but a lot more aware of the calories in it so reduce the amount i eat for example with some pizza's i can eat half and still have a couple of calories left to weigh out some oven chips :). if you look under the groups page and go to recipes there are a few good ones which i've tryed witch were lovely. Try the jacket potato one it was really nice. Hope this helps a little. i'm on day 4 and lost 3lbs already. Good luck xx
wow thanx a lot for the advice il definitly give it a try with the water, shake and a snack. i didnt know you could spread out your calories like that it makes me a lot happier. im on day 3 and dont seem to have lost anything yet somehow lol but i'll get there. good luck with you diet too x
Clarabell88 I am a veggie too and I have been worried about what to have for my meal. I am starting on Tuesday. Like you I am a fussy eater.
Hi! Does this mean I could use my snack calories as an add on to an evening meal or add them together to have something with my shake for lunch??? Thanks :0)
as long as don't under1200 cals a day do it however you want.
am on wk7 don't eat100 cal snacks as its hard.
i can't make up 600 cals meals as i eat such large meals.
